Best wishes to you Jane. At this very moment your music is playing on my stereo and filling my heart with such comfort and joy. I'm obsessed with "The Taxi Ride" and "Seven Steps to the Wall" at the moment. The melody of these songs go perfectly with the intense emotions in the lyrics.

Just heard KD sing The Valley yesterday and can't get the song or the lyrics out of my head. Hauntingly beautiful. What was the inspiration for this beautiful melody? It seemed to have a thin line between life/death, one looking back at the other--. It made me cry the first time I heard it. You are amazing. Bless you, and wish you a long and happy life. DB
Just listening to "Vladmir", for the first time in maybe 20 years. Amazing. That whole album (on top of the first two) had a huge impact on my thinking/ feeling at the time. Very nice to hear the high quality mp3s. You're the best.

Jane - what a generous websoulsite you have made - great to to feel awakened inside listening to you with my headphones on this freakin cold ottawa february. I am thinking of the times I saw you perform... in Kingston once a small theatre. I am thinking the old Ontario place lawn (I think)...walking around Queen street and eating at that weird place next to the steam room (you werent singing just eating - and once you I saw you selling all your stuff having a lawan sale off avenue road - I think it was you -near what was a roots store.... just sharing here.
Jane - please fit Austin, Texas in your tour this year! We love you. Wimberley, Texas is lucky! Thank you -amy
I've always loved Jane. She is as beautiful as her music. I just listened to "Hide Not Your Light" and it made me cry those "Happy" tears. I don't know why. All i know, the song grabbed me and gave me those "good" shivers. The chorus is simply beautiful and catchy. (I know because i have been singing it all day!) Love, Kisses & A Thousand Stars to Jane!
You changed, like a switchplate railroad, changed my life oh way back circa '90. I don't know what I heard of your's on the radio back then but whatever it was, it was a lighthouse. I was already driving the wrecked, no shocks smashed doors 240,000 mile nissan. I'm sure you can't stand hearing about the song, but it was, "How many times before it's too late..." The most profound words through time. If you read every religion, every word of literature, you'd understand how your song calibrated me. You changed my life for the better. It's been far more complicated, difficult, painful, and not even worthwhile... at the point I am now I don't understand how this goes... But it is before me. I have written several novels, I have a terrific global marketing web job, a farm (alpacas... they are zen creatures that, well that just eat hay and drink water and run and jump and enjoy life), a beautiful home I personally built after a devastating fire through which I and my family lived in a camper trailer for 14 months through the worst winter on record (when all of our friends left us, and family and all of it due to bitterness and fear)... a cabin, a barn, myself, et al. We survived, we are healing, I would not be the person I am now without your music.
So to the why I'm posting? Please please know that you, to me, are the church of Asamkirche.
See Jane, love.
Love , Jane, love.
Love, love, Jane.
Jane love, see?
Hi Jane call me when you have time and are in Toronto, I'd love to see you and catch up, drink coffee, meditate, record music in my studio. Same phone number. Cheers, K
I love Jane's music. I'd like her to consider a visit and performance at Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownsfield, Maine! I believe the venue suits her and she would pack the house!

I was wondering if Jane or kd would like to collaborate on a version of a video I made and which can be viewed at among other links: http://www.firstpost.com/topic/person/kd-lang-calling-all-angels-a-foster-home-recruitment-film-for-broo-video-HBekvK4Abo8-30091-1.html
BEGIN INTRO:
Music: Calling All Angels: Jane Sibury & KD Lang
http://www.janesiberry.com/store/
"Calling All Angels" is a recruitment movie for foster homes. Foster families are the backbone of the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network. Because we don't have a shelter, the number of animals we are able to save depends on the number of available foster homes we recruit. Our foster homes provide care and housing for animals in the NYC community on a short-term basis. They serve as temporary guardians for homeless animals awaiting adoption into permanent, loving homes. We provide supplies and vet care. Foster parents provide time, energy, some transportation and love!
Dear Friends,
Some animals come into our lives to remind us just how precious life is. This little guy at our vet's office right now is one such soul. The little trooper was found with severe mange and was later diagnosed with parvo. We know that once this tyke - dubbed Happy by our staff - is healthy enough, he'll find the loving home he deserves.
It's the kind of care you've come to expect from the the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network, and we couldn't do it without your help. Every months, dozens of animals come through the Network. Some are reunited with their grateful owners, while others need another chance at a loving home. We're there to guide them to new families with whatever they might need - veterinary care, nutritious food, behavior training, a temporary respite in a foster home or simply enough time to regain trust.
If you have already given this holiday season, you have our sincere thanks.
If you haven't given yet, please think of all of the animals like Happy, Trevor and Hannah that you have followed on our Facebook page and website. In addition to your moral support, we humbly ask that you make a financial gift that will allow us to continue these labors of love. If you are not in a position to help in that way, please know we appreciate your support in any form. Some people are embarrassed to give; thinking that a few dollars is not significant. If this crossed your mind, please know that even a gift of $5 makes a big difference. Please click the link below to donate. You may also email Laurie Bleier at info@brooklynanimalfosternetwork.org to her to chat with her about our giving options.
Wishing you a holiday season filled with lots of joy and love from your furry friends.
With Gratitude,

I have loved your music for more than 20 years, having first bought the LP "The Walking". I saw you live only once in Sydney about 18 years ago. Have most of your work on CD. Please keep writing and singing you gorgeous genius.
Hello, sorry for my bad english ...
In my small country, Switzerland, it is very difficult to find your records.
But since I first heard your song "calling all angels" I played detective and I finally managed to get many of your albums. Phew!
I listen regularly. When my spirits made waves when the world goes wrong (often) the music through my head, and flows throughout my body. It is the greatest good, and so I continue each year to advance on the planet Earth, discreetly.
Thank you very much.

So sorry I missed your Minneapolis date. Your music means so very much to me. You probably don't remember, but many years ago you gave me permission to use the lyric from "At the Beginning of Time" in a performance art piece in Houston. Thank you for that and for all the wonderful music.
I just listened to you singing "Calling All Angels" w/k.d.lang. What a fantastic piece of music you two made! I love it. Now I've got to do some shopping and check out some more of your work.
Best wishes,
Dennis

Great, a web page my browser and old software can handle. Been listening to your work since around 1982, have your albums from the 1981 album to "Maria", and have a couple of favourites "One More Colour" and "Red High Heels" running on my laptop right now. Always loved your music, it's a bit eclectic, forward thinking musically and not the Same Old, Same Old (or so-so) stuff that I hear on Los Angeles radio and concert venues. I guess having crewed for the 1975-1977 line up of Iron Butterfly, with their members being of diverse music background and ideas, that lended itself to not accepting homogenous nature of ear candy, so famous here in Los Angeles. Your music is refreshingly different, love it, keep up the good work, always push on that musical envelope, I love it when you do that. And psarkissian@line6.com is one of my other emails, and there's my My Space page http://www.myspace.com/337660836 in case you get curious, or Google: "call sign dark star". Happy Holidays and good wishes always, regards--- Partev
Hi Jane,
Follower of your art from years back. You stood beside me once at a Michael Hedges concert....it made my evening! I so miss him. Im hoping to be able to catch your performace in Toronto on the 23rd.
Cheers!
I was fortunate enough to be in your audience at Joe's Pub tonight, December 13th. You are phenomenal and I thank you so much for your presence and music. You reach me on a very deep emotional level. Can't wait to see you again before too long. . .
Hello, Jane, I was immersed in your concert in Portsmouth, RI, last evening Dec 8th. You and Magic (spelled Y-E-S) were just that - magical. Such a spell of positivity you cast over our village! Thank you for sharing your song and poetry. We are all better for it. You are a SUPERHERO!
Seeing you in concert for the first time last night made me realize what an amazing job you do translating the intensity of your creative/spiritual quest from the stage to recordings. In other words I love your music.
Thank you
Attended your performance last evening here in Minneapolis and am still feeling and thinking about it today. Just lovely and inspiring. I know we didn't clap after each of your songs, as audiences usually do. I think it just felt like an interruption to the conversation because we were certainly very present there with you, hope you felt that. Thank you so much for stopping in our city for even one evening. Much love and appreciation to you for all the creativity connections you share.
Jane
Heard on Essential Pittsburgh you are in pittsburgh today.
If you want to extend your stay and occupy the 3rd floor of my house for a few days let me know.
I am from Guelph and my husband is from France and we have a 13 yr old boy who fancies himself a rapper.
We often have guest on our 3rd floor and would be thrilled if you are available and interested.
Pittsburgh is a cool city with plenty to see.
Be well

J'aime votre musique...elle me transporte ailleurs...dans un monde meilleur. Il y a une grâce mêlée à de l'énergie qui donne envie de vous écouter tous les matins avant de démarrer la journée...une hymne à la vie quoi !
How do I download any music for purchase or for free?
All I want to say is thank you kindly Dear Jane...At Koerner Hall I shouted from the balcony please play the Taxi Ride (always makes me shiver)and you did with grace, serenity and beauty...I know you wanted to sing something else but you knew intuitively how much I needed to hear this song from you...Again blessings and thanks
Just downloaded your Three Queens Trilogy. A real treat. Sending you payment on paypal. Best regards,

Wow! What happened to Jane's Seattle gig? I logged on to buy tickets to find that it has disappeared! I am hoping that this is a computer glitch and not a cancellation. Please let me know if I will still have a chance to see her on December 1st in Seattle.
We were privilaged to see you in concert tonight at Joes Garage in Courtenay, Thank you, what a great venue! you touched my heart with your lovely poetry, that will linger for a long time. My daughter and husband shared this memorable night with me. Much love and blessings to you. Mmm
Always wondered about the album "When I was a boy"...so poignant, sad, beautiful...get the feeling it is a concept album about the passing of a friend/daughter/mother???, set in the time of the AIDS epidemic...those churchbells freeing the soul from the now dead body ("you're so thin...") to float up to heaven...the Sunday morning bells of my childhood in Catholic Quebec...any comments/further enlightenment/mystery???
